Since its creation in 1975, Gazechim Plastics continues to strengthen its distribution network and its growth in Europe.
1937 05 01
Louis Grapin and Roger Rouayroux, both based in Beziers, France create L’Anydride Sulfureux Francais dedicated to the distribution of Sulfur Dioxide – SO2
1965 06 11
Gazechim also starts to market Chlorine.
1967 01 18
The export activity begins with the export of liquefied gases and chemicals.
1973 01 20
Gazechim diversifies its activities and begins the distribution of composite raw materials.
1975 04 15
Gazechim continues its diversification with the distribution of thermoplastics.
1990 11 15
Gazechim extend its expertise to the packing and distribution of refrigerants.
1991 10 11
Creation of Union Chimique Participation as Rhone Poulenc’s shares are acquired. Gazechim confirms its independence.
2007 09 10
The Composites business continues to grow through the acquisition of Composites Distribution in France and Polytor a composite materials distributor in Poland.
2008 06 19
The Plastics and Composites Network is expanding and now covers the Czech Republic and Slovakia through the acquisition of Skolil.
2012 03 05
Gazechim Plastics is now deployed in 12 countries in Europe with the acquisition of the plastics activity of Azelis.
